Anyone's Legend vs Karmine Corp: 4:00 PM ET on October 23

Anyone's Legend vs Karmine Corp is slotted for 4:00 PM ET (3:00 PM CDT) on Friday, October 23. China's top seed meets the Play-In winner in a Worlds 2026 Swiss Round 1 best-of-one.

Anyone's Legend vs Karmine Corp: 4:00 PM ET on Friday, October 23, which is 3:00 PM CDT in Allen, Texas and 20:00 UTC. A best-of-one, Swiss Round 1, match 4 of 8.

Anyone's Legend face Karmine Corp at 4:00 PM ET (3:00 PM CDT) on Friday, October 23, the fourth best-of-one of Worlds 2026 Swiss Round 1, in Allen, Texas.

ET means EDT on this date: New York is on daylight time until November 1, which is UTC−4. The slot is 20:00 UTC.

When it starts

4:00 PM ET is a slot, not a fixed start. Only the 1:00 PM ET opener has a published broadcast start, and three best-of-ones go before this one, so a long game earlier pushes it back. Riot's ruleset also lets officials reorder matches within a day. If a preview gives a different time, it's probably listing Round 1 in draw order; the official schedule has 4:00 PM ET.

How they got here

  • Anyone's Legend won the LPL Split 3 final on September 13, 3–1 over Bilibili Gaming, and are China's first seed. They were in draw Tier 1.
  • Karmine Corp are the LEC's third seed, after losing the lower final 0–3 to Movistar KOI. They started Worlds in the Play-In in Los Angeles, October 15–18: four teams in a best-of-five, double-elimination bracket, with one place in the Swiss Stage. They won all three of their series:
    • 3–2 over Cloud9 Kia on October 15.
    • 3–0 over MVK Esports on October 16.
    • 3–0 over MVK again in the qualifying match on October 18.

As the Play-In winner, KC were drawn from Tier 4. They've had four days off after sweeping MVK on October 18, and those days included the move from Los Angeles to Allen.

What's at stake

KC are the only team in the Swiss Stage with games at this Worlds already behind them. Whether that helps against China's top seed is an open question.

Three match wins advance a team to the Knockout Stage and three match losses eliminate it, so this result decides who starts 1–0 and who starts 0–1. Rounds 1 and 2 are best-of-ones; any match that decides advancement or elimination is a best-of-three. Round 2 is drawn right after Friday's matches and played Saturday from 1:00 PM ET.
