Using Lolumen in Claude
Adding the connector to Claude or any MCP client, and what it can see.
Lolumen runs an MCP server, the standard way AI assistants connect to outside tools. Add it to Claude, and Claude can look things up on Lolumen while you talk: whether a card is in Standard, what a deck code holds, what's banned, how classes are doing, a League champion's abilities, or what changed in the latest League patch.
The address
https://www.lolumen.com/mcp
There's nothing to sign in to. The server only reads public data, so it needs no account and no key.
Add it to Claude
- On claude.ai or in the Claude app, open Settings, then Connectors.
- Choose Add custom connector. Name it Lolumen and paste the address above. Leave the advanced settings empty.
- In a chat, open the tools menu under the message box and turn Lolumen on.
Then ask in your own words, for example "Is Bat Mask in Standard right now?" or "Read this deck code and tell me if it's legal today."
Claude Code and other clients
In Claude Code:
claude mcp add --transport http lolumen https://www.lolumen.com/mcp
Any MCP client that supports Streamable HTTP can connect to the same address. The server answers each request on its own, in plain JSON, with no session to keep.
What it can see
Only what the site shows everyone: the card library, formats and bans, deck codes, the free class win rates, deck trends and community decks, today's daily games and the leaderboards, the blog (Hearthstone and League news, patch write-ups and esports), and League of Legends champions, items and what changed in each recent patch. It can't see anyone's account, tracked games, private decks or settings, and it never gives away a daily answer. See every tool in the MCP tool reference.
Limits
Each address can make 120 requests a minute. That's far more than a conversation needs. If a tool says it couldn't answer, wait a moment and ask again.
